Great book but wtf why was it 600 pages😭😭 could have been 400 easily but whatever I still read it all
Mayra,
Waylay is a religion, I loved Knox, the leading female character is a little bit codependent but I am very interested in the new series that comes。

4。5/5⭐️The angst, the banter, the wit。 I fucking adored this book。 The characters were phenomenal, and I was so wrapped up in their lives。 I love that we got a Grump/Sunshine trope, small town vibes and a deep family connection/love。 This was more than just a romance with a happily every after。 I was so impressed with the level of insight, and courage the characters offered to the book。
Nour,

3。75⭐Enjoyed it though I find some parts cringey and boring, still I enjoyed it。 It took me 2 days to finish it because I am trying to find the reason why this is so loved and so popular, idk if I found it。 Still gonna read Sloane and Luciana's story because that man is hot as fck!😚 3。75⭐Enjoyed it though I find some parts cringey and boring, still I enjoyed it。 It took me 2 days to finish it because I am trying to find the reason why this is so loved and so popular, idk if I found it。 Still gonna read Sloane and Luciana's story because that man is hot as fck!😚 。。。more
Jess,
I really, really enjoyed this one。 It had slight Kristen Ashley vibes mixed with a whole bunch of Mariana Zapata vibes, topped off with what is uniquely Lucy Score。 I loved the grumpy/sunshine dynamic, and the humor and caring of the small town。 I also did like the storyline。 The romance was also a bit of a slower burn as the main characters gave into the fact that okay, yeah…they had feelings for each other。 That was fun。What I did not love was:- the ex of Knox’s that showed up。 There was so mu I really, really enjoyed this one。 It had slight Kristen Ashley vibes mixed with a whole bunch of Mariana Zapata vibes, topped off with what is uniquely Lucy Score。 I loved the grumpy/sunshine dynamic, and the humor and caring of the small town。 I also did like the storyline。 The romance was also a bit of a slower burn as the main characters gave into the fact that okay, yeah…they had feelings for each other。 That was fun。What I did not love was:- the ex of Knox’s that showed up。 There was so much other stuff going on, so many other people in town that could have been part of setting their situation right。 It felt unnecessary and I’m often not a fan of involving the ex。 (That said, I’m fairness, Knox is very much INTO Naomi & is more concerned with her than the ex。 And the ex is really nice。 So there’s zero cheating or anything close to it, I just very much had a big eye roll at the scene where she showed up so I had to list it here。 This is likely just a me thing!)- the book was veeerrryyy long。 Which I tend to like, but I ended up skimming a bunch whenever things were a little too slow。 But that’s it! Things We Never Got Over is a lovely grumpy/sunshine small town romance that I very much enjoyed & that I definitely recommend :) 。。。more
Katrin,
I finished this book in three nights。 Between kids and work I wouldn't want to live a single minute without knowing what is happening to Naomi and Knox。 I was thinking about this book at work and stayed up until 1am just to read a little more。 I loved it。 I really lived into the characters。 I shed tears, I shared a laugh at their sarcasm and definitely got butterflies over their encounters。 I liked there was secrecy throughout the book to keep you wondering。 It was a little cliche, sort of could I finished this book in three nights。 Between kids and work I wouldn't want to live a single minute without knowing what is happening to Naomi and Knox。 I was thinking about this book at work and stayed up until 1am just to read a little more。 I loved it。 I really lived into the characters。 I shed tears, I shared a laugh at their sarcasm and definitely got butterflies over their encounters。 I liked there was secrecy throughout the book to keep you wondering。 It was a little cliche, sort of could guess what would happen but I still loved it。 I think Lucy has done a wonderful job on the characters, their stories and the message they bring for the readers。 A little funny and sweet but yet at some point i had to check again was it a lady or a man who wrote it as it became quite robust, especially when it came to Knox。 Well done!!! I already want to read it again and relive this book。 💯👌 。。。more

THIS BOOKOMGOk I have to be honest when I first read this description I so didn’t wanna read the book but I Was WrongThe book has so much going on that it makes it awesome like mystery, drama, adventure, romance (SUCH GOOD ROMANCE)Knox is such a complex character you can’t help but hate and love him at the same time! And I loved Naomi。 I related so much with her people pleasing tendencies。There were so many quotes that just hit so hard and I just can’t with this book。
RED SUN,

Jazmin,
Can we take a minute to admire this beautiful book cover???Ok moving on I really enjoyed this story must admit I got quite frustrated with Naomi sometimes but other than that it's worth reading, of course Waylon won my heart Can we take a minute to admire this beautiful book cover???Ok moving on I really enjoyed this story must admit I got quite frustrated with Naomi sometimes but other than that it's worth reading, of course Waylon won my heart 。。。more
Naomi Chance,
WOW OKAY?!? I love this book?!? Lucy Score did an AMAZING job crafting these beautiful, relatable, heartwarming characters。 I laughed, I cried, and I laughed some more。 If you’re looking for a enemies-to-lovers trope, featuring a guarded Viking-like man, this is a perfect read! There were some spicy moments, but they were written with poise。 I wish I had the ability to read this book for the first time, every time。 I can’t wait to see what comes next in future installments!!!
kelseafaith,
I am OBSESSED with this book!!! This was definitely my favorite read of 2022!!! 🥺❤️🥺❤️
Solei S,
Ok but the tension and banter in this book was so good。 This book has some of my fav tropes all combined into one! The chemistry that these two had were amazing。 Naomi is such an amazing character。 She always puts others before her self and and just a super caring and strong person。 Then there is Knox who is a super grumpy and keeps to himself person。 Reading about both their past and history was heartbreaking and shocking to say the least。 I loved how Knox cared so much for both Naomi and Wayla Ok but the tension and banter in this book was so good。 This book has some of my fav tropes all combined into one! Yeah, It's That GoodThe daisies on the cover kinda put me off。 What kind of book has daisies on the cover? A really good one。 No particular twists or turns in the plot, but the characters I love。 All of them。 Yeah, It's That GoodThe daisies on the cover kinda put me off。 What kind of book has daisies on the cover? Brittani Loth,
I have never read a book so quickly, especially a 600 page book, but this had me hooked from the beginning! There are definitely a good chunk of cringey/cheese parts, but this is still one of my favorite reads of 2022 without a doubt。 The perfect mix of romance, thriller, mystery🌶
Jenna Mortenson,
4。75/5。 I absolutely loved this book。 I was so excited to read it and it definitely didn’t disappoint。 It was comedic, heartwarming, and made me smile like a little school girl。 Grumpy sunshine books always pull through
Bonnie Olson,
Bummer!Great story but unable to finish。 Is mindless sexual detail the norm now? An insult to creative writing? Porn with a story line? Sad
sally crowell,
It was a bit too much for me。 Too sexy details of intimacy and making love
Alanna,
i am obsessed with this book。 the development of knox’s character was so sweet to me。 he always had a soft spot for naomi and it made me so happy。 i loved the whole concept and the execution。 and i even loved how long it was even thought i was intimidated by it。 i didnt want it to be over。
kay *・☪︎·̩͙,
i would drop everything for lucian。
Barbara Bee,
Rough characters Edgy town with interesting residents。 All have baggage preventing an easy relationship。 I would be interested in more of the story should the author continue。

Brianne,
Corny and predictable but I loved it anyways!
Anne Frisbie,

This 4 is like a 3。5, okay? I knew going in that this book was going to be about "love" filled with 1000 tropes that to be honest felt unnecessary and under explored。 The cringy lines and the absurd amount of nicknames the main character has (we get it, nicknames are cute, but come on) are sometimes an itch you can't scratch and to be honest I ignored their "real" ages and imagined they were both around 30 (Also 40 year olds that are that immature and out of touch with their feelings and the rec This 4 is like a 3。5, okay?
